Today went to Mero Salti in search of some Nepali cuisine in JVC- warmly welcomed by Sushma- we ordered chicken noodles, thukpa, Tom yum soup, sizzling chicken momos and later we order steam chicken momos and sekuwa.- amazing service by sagar, Sushma and anusha- they have vast menu includes pan Asian cuisineThank you mero salti will come back and highly recommend.
After spending the morning riding motorcycles at the Dubai Autodrome, I was looking for some food to feed not only my hungry stomach but my soul, and I found it at Mero Solti.This little slice of Nepal can be found in JVC, and when you enter, you are greeted with beaming smiles that are typical of Nepali hospitality.The decor is simple but warm, the walls adorned with pictures of the Himalayas and the ceiling decorated with prayer flags. While these flags are a common sight in the Himalayas, it is not often that you see them here in the UAE.The staff are polite. They are knowledgeable, they are caring, and they are Nepali, which helps when one is confused about what to order from the vast menu.The menu has quite a variety. From pasta to momos, so there is something for everyone.Now to the food, I ordered veg steamed momos and chicken steamed momos as well as a plate of veg chowmien for good measure.(Yes, I was hungry). The food was delicious. The portion size was big. The chowmien was delicately balanced and wonderfully flavoured. The momos were superb, although I expected the chili sauce to be the Nepali one, but it tasted Chinese. This is forgivable as they are a new restand have only recently opened and the flavour of the food makes up for it.Even though I live at the opposite end of the city, I will be back here again. I am saving this place as a Dubai favourite!
Happy to see a Nepalese restaurant in JVC. Apparently established around 2 months ago. Staff are very friendly. All Nepalese. Clean and nice atmosphere. Felt like I was in Katmandu. Tea was so good. Momo was delicious. We had the Nepali thali which was yummy. Just the Thukpa/ noodles soup was not really my thing, but maybe it will appeal to others. All in all a good experience. Will go back again.
So so Delicious!!!This restaurant has excellent service provided by Mr sager and team i forgot some name. the food is delicious!!! Especially the momo ,nepali khaja and more are absolutely super! We will come back..
You should definitely check out this awesome place in JVC that serves delicious nepali food as well as other dishes. It is convenietly located next to a bus stop. You can take J01 from the mall of the emirates bus station.For the grand opening, they had 4 set menus with the option for additional sides. My friend and I selected different set menu. I had the one which had Nasi goreng for the main course while my friend had the Nepali Thali. It was delicious starting from the appetizers until desserts. The spicy chicken wings is a must try. I love the chicken momos and the sauce perfectly went well with it. I also loved the sauce for the chicken satay. I had my usual lemon mint drink and it had the perfect level of sweetness. We finished our meal with a cup of homemade chai. Price was worth it.The service was superb, anusha was attentive, accomodating, and approachable. Samyita made sure as well that we were well taken care of. Ambiance was great, i love how elegant and subtle the decorations were. Lighting was soft and relaxing.Definitely coming back again.
